This email is connected to the administrative operations for our campus suicide prevention efforts. If you are having thoughts of suicide or are concerned about someone who may be having thoughts, please use the following options to seek help:

  • The option to speak to a crisis counselor is available through GT CARE (404-894-3498) and the GT Counseling Center (404-894-2575) during normal hours of operation (M-F, 8am – 5pm). At all other times (nights, weekends, holidays), an afterhours counselor is available to provide assistance by calling these same numbers and hitting the number “1” to access this option.
  • The Georgia Tech Police Department can be accessed for help with a crisis by calling 404-894-2500. Local law enforcement can also be contacted by calling 911.
  • For 24/7 support in the experience of sexual violence, a VOICE Advocate is available to speak with by calling 404-894-9000.
  • A referral can be made to the Dean of Students Office so that support and follow-up can be made with a student who is struggling. Please use the following link:
